Mayor Millirons called the Work Session to order at 7:00 p.m. The meeting took place in the Boardroom of the
Morrow Municipal Complex, 1500 Morrow Road, Morrow, GA. Mayor Millirons recessed
the Work Session at 7:30
p.m. for the regular
council meeting. The Work Session resumed after the completion of the regular
council meeting.
The topics that were
discussed during the Work Session included the following:
- Dan Defnall – Finance Amendments (2004-05 Fiscal Year Unaudited).
- Rail (September 15th,
Passed GDOT board by 7-5 vote).
- In The Fullness of Time (Melly
Meadows and Ms. Rainwater) Councilman Tom LaPorte mad a motion to fund the
tourism presentation for the 14Th consecutive year. Councilman Sorrow seconded the motion. Mayor Millirons called for a vote and it was unanimous
to approve the funding of $5,000. The funding will come from the tourism
budget and the MBTA contract.
