COUNCIL WORK SESSION

September 14, 2004

Mayor Millirons called the Work Session to order at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting took place in the Boardroom of the Morrow Municipal Complex, 1500 Morrow Road, Morrow, GA.

Mayor Millirons recessed the Work Session at 7:30 p.m. for the regular council meeting.  The Work Session resumed after the completion of the regular council meeting.

The topics that were discussed during the Work Session included the following:

1. Chief Wall- (FEMA and Hazard resolutions).

2. Southlake Redevelopment (Executive summary).

3. GFOA (City earned 2003 Finance Award – 10^th consecutive GFOA award).

4. Finance Officer (Interviewing).

5. CCMA Meeting (Sept. 23^rd @ 7PM – Holiday Inn).

6. Wal-Mart (Motorcycle ride along –CMN – Sat., Oct. 9^th at 9AM).

7. City Christmas Party (December 10^th at Pilgreens-6:30 pm).

8. Annexation (Burbank and Carla Drive- Land Survey Pending).

9. John Robert Access Road (Design Finished-pending).

10. Southlake Riverfront District (Pending).

11. C-Tran Intergovernmental Agreement (Pending).
