COUNCIL WORK SESSION

Mayor Millirons called the Work Session to order at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting took place in the Boardroom of the Morrow Municipal Complex, 1500 Morrow Road, Morrow, GA. Mayor Millirons recessed the Work Session at 7:30 p.m. for the regular council meeting.  The Work Session resumed after the completion of the regular council meeting.

 

 

The topics that were discussed during the Work Session included the following:

 

 

  1. GDOT Board Meeting on Rail (September 14th, GDOT Rm. 401, 1 PM start- Leave at 11:30 AM).

 

  1. Garbage Service (3.1% CPI Adjustment).

 

  1. Viacom Case (Affirmed Judge Ward Decision).

 

  1. PROUD Meetings Draft.

 

  1. GFOA Finance Award (Dan Defnall, 11th consecutive – Plaque pending delivery).

 

  1. Annexation (Lake Harbin, Residential, Public Hearing on October 11, 2005).

 

  1. Annexation (Pleasant Valley, Petition should be filed in the next 30 days).

 

  1. Red Light Camera System (Testing Sept. 13 and 14 @ two City interchanges).

 

 

 

  1. Star 94 FM-Movie Under the stars (Sat., Sept.17th @ Reynolds Property).

 

  1. Dr. Moore Property for LCI (Closed on August 24th).

 

  1. Georgia Power LCI Property (Pending).

 

  1. RS-80 Zoning Modifications (pending)

 

  1. Bhole Property, 1117 Mt. Zion Rd.  (Pending).
