discussed during the Work Session included the following:

The City Manager requested the
authority to enter into a purchase contract for a defined blighted property. An
agreement with the Morrow DDA was approved earlier in the day. After discussion
and concern, Councilman Slaton made a motion to authorize the City Manager to
proceed with the contract with defined stipulations and ranges for purchase.
Councilman Sorrow seconded the motion. Mayor Millirons called for a vote and it
passed 3-1. Councilman Slaton, Councilman Sorrow, and Councilman LaPorte voted
in favor of the purchase and Councilman Huie voted against the purchase.
- Morrow Tourist Center Dedication as a “Regional Visitor Information Center” – (Sunday, October 15th from 2PM until 4PM).
- Lake Harbin –
Meadowbrook Annexation (Oct. 17th - P&Z, Oct. 24th
- Final Vote City Council).
- Safe Halloween (Tuesday,
Oct. 31st From 6PM until 8PM @ City Hall).

- Two properties were
appraised and negotiated by the City of Morrow for the path system.
Councilman Slaton made a motion to approve their purchase at the
negotiated amount and Councilman Sorrow seconded the motion. Mayor
Millirons called for a vote and it passed unanimously.
