COUNCIL WORK SESSION

Mayor Millirons called the Work Session to order at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting took place in the Boardroom of the Morrow Municipal Complex, 1500 Morrow Road, Morrow, GA.

Mayor Millirons recessed the Work Session at 7:30 p.m. for the regular council meeting.  The Work Session resumed after the completion of the regular council meeting.

 

The topics that were discussed during the Work Session included the following:

 

1.      Parking Deck (Finished Prints from Pond & CO.).

2.      ARC “State of the Region” Breakfast (Wednesday, Nov. 10th,  Hyatt @ Peachtree - leave City Hall at 6:30AM).

3.      Georgia Trend “Trendsetter Finalist for Public Safety).

4.      Clayton State University (University Center Dedication, 2PM, Nov. 11th).

5.      Metro South – Grand Opening (Thursday, Nov. 11th, 6-8 PM).

6.      Southlake Mall Makeover? (I-75 Tree issue).

7.      Gateway Traffic Signal.

8.      CCMA Legislative Breakfast (Nov.18th, 7:30 AM @ Holiday Inn – RSVP)?

9.      CCMA Christmas Party (Thursday, Dec. 2, 7 PM).

10.  Georgia Department of Natural Resources (Flood Map Updates).
