COUNCIL WORK SESSION

November 8, 2005

Mayor Millirons called the Work Session to order at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting took place in the Boardroom of the Morrow Municipal Complex, 1500 Morrow Road, Morrow, GA. Mayor Millirons recessed the Work Session at 7:30 p.m. for the regular council meeting.  The Work Session resumed after the completion of the regular council meeting.

The topics that were discussed during the Work Session included the following:

1. Turning Around a Downtown.

2. Met Life acquires Citistreet.

3. Aviation Centre (Road Design and Signage).

4. LCI Parking Deck Design.

5. Create Community Award (Nov. 18^th – 7:30 – 9:30 AM).

6. Red Light Camera System (Contract Pending).

7. RS-80 Zoning Modifications (1^st Reading Next Council Meeting).

8. DDA Appointments 2006 (Chat).

9. C-Tran Issues (Kelley Drive- Bus Stop Removal Pending).

10. Mayor’s Day – GMA (January 21-23).

11. Annexation (Peacock Blvd. – December Request).

12. Georgia Power LCI Property (Pending Easement Survey and Final Contract).

13. 6066 Navaho Tr. Property Purchase (Renovating).

14. Former Lewis Welch Property (Under Contract).

15. Graceland Park (Pending).

16. Pathway System (Right of Way - Pending).
