COUNCIL WORK SESSION

 

June 28, 2005

Mayor Millirons called the Work Session to order at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting took place in the Boardroom of the Morrow Municipal Complex, 1500 Morrow Road, Morrow, GA.

Mayor Millirons recessed the Work Session at 7:30 p.m. for the regular council meeting.  The Work Session resumed after the completion of the regular council meeting.

 

The topics that were discussed during the Work Session included the following:

 

 

  1. Hungarian Delegation/National Archives (Grant Wainscott).

 

  1. National Archives Grand Opening ( July 15th, @ 10 AM).

 

  1. Summerfest (This Saturday Night from 6 – 10 PM).

 

  1. DR Horton Model Home (Visual).

 

  1. Supreme Court Decision.

 

  1. LCI Town Square Released by GDOT.

 

  1. Potential Three Acre Donation of Property (Pending).

 

  1. Bhole Property, 1117 Mt. Zion  Rd and annexation (Pending).

 

  1. 6066 Navaho Tr. Property Purchase (Closing in approx. 10 days).

 

  1. Lewis Welch Property Demolition (Building down in 10 days).
