The topics that were discussed during the Work Session included the following:

 

 

  1. Service Delivery (HB 489 expired on April 28, 2006 * Researching and Defining Issues).

 

  1. Path System (Opportunity on Graceland)

City Manager John Lampl discussed the master plan for the City’s path system. A deteriorated property was identified as having a negative effect on the community and adjacent properties. He recommended to the City Council, an opportunity that would create value by tying the City’s Daniel Park into the adjacent neighborhood. After a brief discussion, Mayor Millirons called for a motion. A motion to purchase the property for demolition was made by Councilman LaPorte and Seconded by Councilman Slaton. Mayor Millirons called for the vote and it passed unanimously.

 

  1. Second Fire Station (Lease Agreement Pending Modifications).

 

  1. Code Enforcement (Picture).

 

  1. Adult Oriented Businesses (Ordinance Pending Attorney Revisions).

 

  1. 6066 Navaho Tr. Property (Property for Sale).

 

  1. Graceland Park (Dedication July 1 @ 8AM).

 

  1. Pathway System (Right of Way - Pending).

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Pond LCI Redesign (Finished- GDOT Reviewing).

 

  1. Economic Development / Police Substation Opportunity (Pending).

 

  1. Southlake Redevelopment (Pending).
