  1. Morrow DDA Bond Update.
    1. Property Closed On Thursday, June 14th.

 

  1. Morrow DDA – Debt Service Agreement
    1. New financing agreements between the City of Morrow (City) and the Morrow Downtown Development Authority (DDA) were designed to consolidate the DDA debt service and the underwriting risk to the City. Therefore, the outstanding higher interest rate DDA loan needed to be satisfied per mutual financial agreements. A motion was made by Councilman Sorrow and seconded by Councilman Slaton to pay off the loan in increments that will not require penalties for liquidation of current certificates of deposit. Mayor Millirons called for the vote and it passed unanimously.
  2. Olde Morrow
    1. GGP Bridge Property Update.

                                                               i.      Pending GGP Attorney Draft.

    1. Olde Morrow Bridge & Roadway Bid Opening on July 12th
    2. Olde Morrow Infrastructure (Pond final Draft – July 10th).
    3. Tara Plan Purchase Proposal (July 24th Business Plan).

                                                               i.      The City Manager defined a proposal for an option contract to retain the rights to 1959 dated architectural plans for the possible public/private construction of a signature building in Olde Morrow. A motion was made by Councilman Slaton and seconded by Councilman Barfield to offer 7.5% of the market value to the owner for the option. Mayor Millirons called for a vote. Councilmen Slaton, Barfield, and Sorrow voted in favor and Councilman Huie opposed. The motion passed by majority.
