COUNCIL WORK SESSION

June 8th, 2004

Mayor Millirons called the Work Session to order at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting took place in the Boardroom of the Morrow Municipal Complex, 1500 Morrow Road, Morrow, GA.

 

Mayor Millirons recessed the Work Session at 7:30 p.m. for the regular council meeting.  The Work Session resumed after the completion of the regular council meeting.

 

The topics that were discussed during the Work Session included the following:

 

1.      Police Chief Applicants (Interviews)

2.      Annexation (Burbank and Carla Drive update).

3.      Neighborhood Grocery Review.

4.      June 2004 Campaign Disclosure Reports Due

5.      Zoning Classifications Deletions (RMA-Residential Multi-Family Apartment, RMC – Residential Multi-family Condominiums, NB- Neighborhood Business, OI office/Institutional) Replace with (MU) Mixed Use description. (June 22nd, first reading).

6.      Adamson Parkway Development.

7.      Skylark Drive Property (Green Space)?

8.      Foxcroft Subdivision Cultural Celebration (Saturday, June 12th, 2PM-6PM).

 

 

 

9.      Lala Jones 99th Birthday (June 16th at 7:30 PM – Proclamation) Presentation?

10.  Meadowbrook Rezoning (June 15th P&Z – June 22nd City Council).

11.  CCMA Meeting (Thursday, June 24th  - 7 PM at the Holiday Inn ) RSVP?.

12.  GMA Convention (June 26-29) – Events.

13.  John Robert Access Road (Design Finished).

14.  Maxie Price (Drive Time –Under Construction).

15.  Land Purchase (Taco Bell- Closing on Wednesday, June 9th).

16.  Southlake Riverfront District (Pending).

17.  C-Tran Intergovernmental Agreement (Pending).
