COUNCIL WORK SESSION

Mayor Millirons called the Work Session to order at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting took place in the Boardroom of the Morrow Municipal Complex, 1500 Morrow Road, Morrow, GA.

Mayor Millirons recessed the Work Session at 7:30 p.m. for the regular council meeting.  The Work Session resumed after the completion of the regular council meeting.

 

The topics that were discussed during the Work Session included the following:

 

 

  1. Rail Issues (Intergovernmental Agreement).

 

  1. Tar and Turf Race (August 20, 8 AM, in Morrow).

 

  1. Tax Free Holidays (July 28-30).

 

  1. Bhole Property, 1117 Mt. Zion Rd.  (Pending).

 

  1. Three Acre Donation of Property (Finished).

 

  1. 6066 Navaho Tr. Property Purchase (Finished and Renovating).

 

  1. Lewis Welch Property Demolition (Landscaping Plan Under Review).

 

  1. Personnel (Pending).
