COUNCIL WORK SESSION

Mayor Millirons called the Work Session to order at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting took place in the Boardroom of the Morrow Municipal Complex, 1500 Morrow Road, Morrow, GA 30260.

 

Mayor Millirons recessed the Work Session at 7:30 p.m. for the regular council meeting.  The Work Session resumed after the completion of the regular council meeting.

 

The topics that were discussed during the Work Session included the

following:

 

1.      P&Z candidate (Clyde Jeffreys).

2.      Tourism Presentation (Lisa Sewell).

3.      Grants Presentation (Sylvia Redic).

4.      Reynolds Nature Preserve Request.

5.      Annexation (Residential).

6.      Land Purchase (LCI).

7.      Gateway Parking Deck (RFQs due by Feb.18th, 12004).

8.      Land Purchase (Taco Bell).

9.      I-75 Welcome to Morrow Entrance Signs (Draft).

10.  Storm Water Utility (Initial meeting and outline Jan. 18th).

11.  Community Roundtable 2004 Schedule.

12.  Annual Mayor and Council Planning Session (Saturday, Feb 21st, 9:00 AM).

13.  Maxie Price (Drive Time Building Drawings).

14.  Southlake Riverfront District (Pending).

15.  C-Tran Intergovernmental Agreement (Pending).

 

There was no further business, and Mayor Millirons adjourned the meeting.
