COUNCIL WORK SESSION

Mayor Pro Tem LaPorte called the Work Session to order at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting took place in the Boardroom of the Morrow Municipal Complex, 1500 Morrow Road, Morrow, GA.  The Work Session recessed at 7:30 p.m. for the regular council meeting, and resumed after the completion of the regular council meeting.

 

The topics that were discussed during the Work Session included the following:

 

1.      Morrow History Calendars (Finished and being delivered).

2.      Southlake Plan.

3.      Public Works Update.

4.      United Waste – (Commercial CPI contract adjustment)

5.      Audit Extension Approved.

6.      Annexation Issue.

7.      Draft – Mandatory Retirement Policy.

8.      Land Purchase (2.4 acres near Reynolds – finished)

9.      Appointments for 2005.

10.  “In the Fullness of Time” – (December 19th @ 1:30 PM- CCPAC).

11.  GMA – Mayor’s Day Conference (Jan. 22-24).

12.  Lovejoy (LOST negotiations).

13.  RS-80 Modifications (Pending).

14.  Skylark Property (Pending-appraisal).

15.  John Robert Access Road (Surveys finished).

16.  Southlake Riverfront District (Pending).

17.  C-Tran Intergovernmental Agreement (Pending).
