                                                               i.      GGP Attorney and City Attorney Review.

    1. Macon House Opportunity.

                                                               i.      City Manager John Lampl discussed an opportunity to acquire and move a historic structure located in Macon, Georgia. The Council had a general discussion of the structure and were given information defining the value the historic home would add to the Olde Morrow redevelopment district. Mayor Millirons called for a vote to authorize the City Manager to negotiate and enter into contracts to acquire and relocate the Historic Napier House in Macon, Georgia to Morrow’s Olde Morrow Redevelopment District. The motion passed unanimously.

    1. Ground Breaking Olde Morrow– Friday, September 28th @ Noon.

  1. CBS Billboard Modified Contract?
    1. The City Council agreed to modify the contract based on permitting issues beyond the control of the City and CBS Outdoor Advertising.

    1. Meadowbrook Re-annexation

 

  1. Finance Award – City Earned our 12th Consecutive Award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States. Presentation to Dan Defnall at Aug. 28th Council Meeting.

 

  1. Clayton State University – Student Housing and Student Activities Center Groundbreaking (Thursday, August 23rd @ 10 AM RSVP?).

 

  1. Reynolds Property (August 28th Work Session Presentation and Discussion).

 

  1. FirstBank Ribbon Cutting – Wednesday, August 29th @ 11 AM.

 

  1. Morrow DDA – Former Macy’s Property Subdivision
