Mayor Millirons called the Work Session to order at 5:00 p.m. The meeting took place in the Boardroom of the Morrow Municipal Complex, 1500 Morrow Road, Morrow, GA.
Mayor Millirons recessed the Work Session at 7:30 p.m. for the regular council meeting. The Work Session resumed after the completion of the regular council meeting.
The topics that were discussed during the Work Session included the following:
1. Fire Department (Chief Interviews).
2. D.R. Horton Homes (House Elevations, Exteriors, and Options).
3. Subdivision Markers and Amoco Demolition (Pictures).
4. York Park Dedication (Possible Saturdays – June 11th).
5. Rookie School Graduation (Court room at 3 PM on Friday, April 29).
6. 13th Congressional District Job Fair (April 29th from 1PM – 4PM @ GICC).
7. 2005-06 Budget (Council delivery May 3rd).
8. 2005-06 Budget (Council discussion May 10th @ 6 PM).
9. “Day in the Park” Saturday, May 14th.
10. Morrow Teen Driving Clinic (Saturday, May 21, 2005 sponsored by PD).
11. GMA Savannah Conference – June 25-28.
12. Land Purchase (Southlake Property- Contracts Signed – Demolition Bids).
13. Other Strategic Properties and Issues (Contract offer for a park property).
14. Trail System (Pending).
15. Left turn arrow @ 54 and Oxford / Adamson Parkway (Pending).
16. Intergovernmental Agreement - Water Authority (Pending).
17. Southlake Riverfront District (Pending).
18. C-Tran Intergovernmental Agreement (Pending).
