Regular Council Meeting

May 9, 2006

Councilman Charles Sorrow called the regular meeting of the Morrow City Council to order at 7:30 p.m.  The meeting took place in the Council Chambers of the Morrow Municipal Complex, 1500 Morrow Road, Morrow, GA, 30260.  Everyone stood for the Pledge of Allegiance and Councilman Sorrow gave the invocation.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:             Work Session                - April 25, 2006

Regular Meeting            - April 25, 2006

Councilman Slaton made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Councilman LaPorte. The motion passed unanimously.

PRESENTATION:   

1. Awards for the Beautiful Yard Contest were presented to East Side Winners:

1^st Place Reathie Knowles and 2^nd Place Eugenia Green.

OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS:

No New Business

COMMENTS:  City Manager John Lampl commented that Day in the Park was a success. The Skylark subdivision won first place on their display with Northridge coming in Second. The general consensus was great food from Smokey Bones, wonderful music and the company of many of our citizens.

Councilman Sorrow adjourned the meeting at 7:45 pm.
