PUBLIC HEARING:   

 

Item 1:   Public Hearing for an amendment to the 1986 Zoning Ordinance

              of the City of Morrow, Georgia, as amended, concerning Article

              IX, Schedule of District Regulations, by establishing a Community

              University Planned District Overlay (C.U.P.D.O.L.) as defined in the

              Future Land Use Map which was officially adopted May 25, 2004,

              to clarify the intent of these provisions; for the health and welfare

              of the public; to establish an effective date; and, for other

              purposes.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

Item 1:   Second Reading of Ordinance to annex the unincorporated

               island in the Beverly Hills subdivision and approximately 6 acres

               north of the Beverly Hills subdivision along the east side of Phillips

               Drive pursuant to 36-36-90 through 92 and 36-66-4 of the Official

               Code of Georgia Annotated. The proposed zoning classification

               of the residential property upon annexation is single-family

               residential (RS-80).  The current Clayton County zoning is RS110.

               The zoning of the property known as Reynolds Nature Preserve is

               to remain as currently zoned:  greenspace/recreational.

NEW BUSINESS:  

 

Item 1:  Request for Variances to the City Code of Ordinances, Article IX,

              Section 907A Community University Planned District (C.U.P.D.),

              Section 6.(A) Parking Facilities and Section 6. (G) Parking Lot

              Islands.  The property is located in the southwest corner of

              Highway 54 and Millirons Way.

              Petitioner:  The Development Authority of Clayton County,

              c/o G. Robert Oliver, Esq.

 

 

 

 

Item 2:  A Resolution 2004-14 to establish a fee schedule for plan reviews

              and inspections as they pertain to soil erosion and sedimentation

              control through the issuances of land disturbing activity permits.

 

Item 3:   First Reading of an Ordinance entitled an Ordinance to amend

               the 1986 Zoning Ordinance of the City of Morrow, Georgia, as

               amended, concerning Article IX, Schedule of District Regulations,
