  1. Swearing in of Morrow’s new Fire Chief, Mark Herendeen.

 

  1. 25 year pins presented by Chief Herendeen to Captain Mike Neal and Captain Don Harry.

 

  1. 10 year pin presented by Chief Sewell to Officer Wayne Butler.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

Item 1:            Second Reading of Ordinance 2005-06 establishing gross millage for 2005 for maintenance and operation at Nine (9) mils, less the rollback of Five (5) mils for Local Option Sales Tax, leaving a net millage for maintenance and operation purposes set at Four (4) mils. 

 

Item 2:            Second Reading of Ordinance 2005-07 to annex the Intention of the City of Morrow to annex property pursuant to Chapter 36 of Title 36 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated. The proposed zoning classification of the property upon annexation is General Business.  The current Clayton County zoning is General Business.
