PRESENTATION BY DEPARTMENT HEADS AND PUBLIC HEARINGS:

Proposed annexation and zoning of 1115 Mt. Zion Road:

            Intention of the City of Morrow to annex property pursuant to Chapter 36 of Title 36 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated. The proposed zoning classification of the property upon annexation is General Business.  The current Clayton County zoning is General Business.

PUBLIC HEARING:

Public Hearing for the tax rate for calendar year 2005, establishing the gross millage for maintenance and operation at Nine (9) mils, less the rollback of Five (5) mils for Local Option Sales Tax, leaving a net millage for maintenance and operation purposes set at Four (4) mils. 

OLD BUSINESS:

Item 1:            Second Reading of Ordinance 2005-05 regulating the use of shopping carts in the City of Morrow.

NEW BUSINESS:

Item 1:            First Reading of Ordinance 2005-06 establishing gross millage for 2005.

Item 2:            First Reading of Ordinance 2005-07 to annex the aforementioned

                        property at 1115 Mt. Zion Road
