City of Morrow Parks

Barton Memorial Park

Barton Memorial Park is located along Meadowbrook and spans over 44 acres of property. At one point, the site was an interest of private developers. However, City leaders felt that the harmony of our residential community would better be served by maintaining the 44 acres as recreation or green space. Barton Memorial Park offers a natural setting with amenities for the citizens of Morrow.

Jim & Peggy Millirons Park

The park is a destination point along the City’s future Jesters Creek Trail System from both North and South of the trail. The park hosts a 20’ covered pavilion with decorative columns, park benches, and a granite multipurpose trail connection system. Public Works crews installed an irrigation system to protect the large variety of plant throughout the park. Finally, a beautiful sign stands at the entrance of the park to welcome neighborhood residents. The park was dedicated to Mayor and Peggy Millirons on July 1, 2006.

The park layout was designed by Ernest Duffey who grew up in Morrow as well as served as Mayor and Councilman. The park is situated along Panther Creek and offers a delightful environment for adjacent neighborhoods to enjoy the outdoors.
