GOVERNMENT - POLICE DEPT - UNIFORM PATROL DIVISION

The most visible division of the department is the Uniform Patrol Division. The division consists of four shifts, and each shift is supervised by a Lieutenant and a Sergeant. The primary duty of the officers assigned to the Uniform Division is to respond to calls for service. They conduct preliminary investigations, investigate traffic crashes, and enforce traffic codes, criminal codes, and city ordinances. Patrol officers typically are first responders to emergency situations. In addition Uniform personnel serve a crime prevention and deterrence role while on patrol. As part of our mission to provide the highest level of service possible to the people we serve, we endeavor to promote an environment where the citizens of Morrow feel secure in their neighborhoods.

Morrow residents enjoy an average response time of less than five minutes on routine calls and less than three minutes on emergency calls. If you think that you need to call the police department, DO NOT HESITATE. We had rather you call us and not need us than need us and not call us.
