Laura Troutt, Administrative Assistant

Ms. Laura Troutt serves as Administrative Assistant to the Chief. Ms. Troutt serves in a unique capacity in that she oversees the Records Department as well as the administrative functions of the executive office.

Ms. Troutt is responsible for compiling periodic and special reports for the Chief, as well as ensuring monthly UCR is reported. She ensures HIPPA requirements are met and all Open Records Requests are responded to within the timeliness and accuracy guidelines of the State of Georgia Open Records Act.

Ms. Troutt also monitors departmental expenditures in order to meet department budgetary requirements and manages the Morrow Police Department payables.
