Criminal History and Background Checks

The City of Morrow Emergency Communications provides comprehensive pre-employment screening solutions. Solutions include a 72-hour maximum turn around designed to meet your specific needs for screening applicants efficiently and accurately. The Communications Department assists you through the steps of employment criminal history and background checks in order to reduce liability and/or meet contractual obligations legally.

Georgia Criminal History and Background Checks are most commonly used for Georgia public or private Pre-Employment Screening. Many others use Criminal History and Background Checks for self checks, nanny checks, babysitter criminal background checks, educational positions, nursing home positions, and adoption/foster parents.

The CHBC (Criminal History & Background Checks) Team is ideal for small businesses or large businesses with:

200 or fewer employees
One authorized user
The need to perform background checks very quickly
The trust of a government municipality performing the work

Step 1: Sign-Up

Registration for CHBC is instantaneous. Simply provide contact and business information and authorize a primary and secondary user.

Step 2: Order

To order a background check, a Consent form along with a copy of the applicant's Drivers License needs to be completed and submitted to the City of Morrow's CHBC Team at: 1500 Morrow Rd, Morrow GA 30260 or dropped off to the 911 Department M-F 9AM-4PM.

The cost for a Georgia Criminal History and Background Check is $20.00.

Step 3: Review Results
