Local Events
The City of Morrow recently celebrated its annual Day in the Park. This event marks the start of the P.R.O.U.D. Neighborhood season each year. Each neighborhood competed with an exhibit based on a theme and was judged by a panel of five judges.

SummerFest on the Green is an annual celebration held on the Saturday before the 4th of July holiday. Live musical entertainment, a children's carnival, and a fireworks display fills the event with fun and excitement for area residents and visitors!

	Christmas in the Park is an annual event in the City of Morrow that takes place at the beginning of December in Milton Daniel Park. Choirs from area churches and schools participate in the event by singing Christmas carols. The churches also sell ornaments, crafts, hot chocolate, and other seasonal items. The event is fun for the whole family and is absolutely free!

Battle of Jonesboro Civil War Reenactment Every fall in Jonesboro, one can hear the sounds of the Civil War. The Battle of Jonesboro was one of the decisive battles of Sherman's March to the Sea. The Battle of Jonesboro marked the end of the Atlanta Campaign during the Civil War. When Federal troops seized control of the railroad in Jonesboro, all supplies to Atlanta were cut off.

Atlanta Motor Speedway Atlanta Motor Speedway is a bi-yearly stop for the NASCAR circuit. The 1.54 mile tri-oval is heralded as the "fastest track in NASCAR".
