EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS The City of Morrow Emergency Communications Department is accepting resumes and applications for the position of part-time Communications Officer. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 18 years of age, drug free and background check. College experience is preferred, as is a state certification. Applications for part-time employment are always accepted online and reviewed by department management. Full time positions are filled from qualified part-time employees.
FIRE DEPARTMENT The fire department is made up of firefighter/EMT and firefighter/paramedics. Candidates certified as paramedics with the State of Georgia or National Registered will be considered first. All candidates for employment for The City of Morrow must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years of age, pass a background check, be drug free, possess a valid driver license, and have no criminal history. The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree or be actively working towards one. Competitive salary and benefits with a tuition reimbursement program for approved college courses. Salary DOQ, minimum for a certified Firefighter/EMT is $31,000, and certified Firefighter/Paramedic is $35,000. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply through the Cities web site under the career path fire department. Any questions regarding the hiring process must go through the Fire Chief’s office. Applications must be filled out on the web site and if so desired, a hard copy can be mailed to the fire department to the attention of the Fire Chief. POLICE DEPARTMENT
The City of Morrow Police Department accepts applications for both full-time and part-time positions only when positions are posted.

are Georgia POST certification and the ability to pass a thorough background investigation.
