The Morrow Business & Tourism Association (MBTA) promotes economic development, commerce, tourism and conventions for organizations in and around the City of Morrow. With a staff of more than 30 paid and volunteer associates, the Morrow Business & Tourism Association operates both a chamber of commerce and business incubator, as well as a state of the art visitor’s center.

Begun in 2002 out of a growing need to better serve the rapidly expanding retail and tourism market in Morrow, the MBTA offers membership to area businesses and organizations that are actively engaged in offering products or services in the Morrow area, and to partner organizations that promote the quality of life in our region. Our members include hotels, retail stores, restaurants, manufacturers and wholesalers, real estate agents, property owners and managers, educational institutions and cultural amenities.

The MBTA is funded through the city’s hotel tax. Currently, seven hotels provide resources to staff and operate the Morrow Tourist Center. Additionally, the City of Morrow and the Morrow Downtown Development Authority provide additional funding to assist with the operation of the chamber of commerce function of the MBTA.

Unlike most chambers of commerce and CVB’s, our membership dues never go toward paying salaries or overhead. All dues are used for the sole purpose of promoting member businesses and the area. Dues are used to help offset the costs of advertising for our members, promoting conventions and meetings and producing marketing materials such as visitor maps and brochures. Rest well knowing that your investment in the MBTA is having a direct impact on your business and on the image and viability of the City of Morrow as the region’s commercial, cultural and educational hub!
